How we began:
Collective Action developed from the independent general election campaign in Hove & Portslade which won over 3000 votes. The manifesto for the election campaign can be found at the Tanushka Marah campaign site.
What we stand for:
- Housing for all. Rent controls, build council homes, ban oversees property sales, cap on holiday lets.
- Tax the super-rich to solve the cost of living crisis. Fight Labour’s cuts to public services.
- Save the NHS. End Labour-Tory privatisation. Pay our care workers, nurses and doctors fairly.
- We support a free Palestine. Sanctions and arms embargo on Israel.
- End the wars. No more money for wars, use the money for our public services.
- Fight the hate. Safe passage for refugees, not death at sea. Billionaires are stealing the country, not migrants!
- Bring back the Winter Fuel Payment. Tax the ripoff energy firms.
- We own it! Bring energy firms, Southern Water, Royal Mail and rail back into public hands.
- Leave it in the ground. Invest in real green jobs and industries in the UK, not fossil fuel scams like carbon capture.
