Collective Action Brighton & Hove endorses David Maples, the independent socialist candidate for the Westbourne and Poet\u2019s Corner council bye-election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David is a housing and disability campaigner with vast knowledge of local issues, and considerable experience as a community campaigner and trade union representative helping families and individuals get the services they need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNone of the main parties have put up any serious opposition to the last 15 years of cuts or the senseless wars the UK is supporting internationally. I will fight to defend council services and oppose cuts, to support welfare, not warfare\u201d, says David.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
